  • General info

    Powerlifting consists of three exercises: squat, bench press and deadlift. These exercises work muscles all across your body, which result in making your body stronger and faster. Overall, your athletic abilities increase.

    Powerlifting trainings for boys and girls aged 14-19 take place at University of Tartu sports club’s gym and weight lifting area (Ujula 4).

    Tuition fee is paid for the current month on the basis of an invoice. Payment information is written on the invoice. In the bank transfer explanation box, write your child’s name and invoice number. Reference number should be written in the reference number box. Paid tuition fee is deductible in the income tax declaration of the person paying the bill.

    If you’re paying for the whole sports school season at once, you will get 15% discount from the annual fee. Annual fee can be paid once a year in one payment during September. To receive an invoice with the discount, contact our sports manager. When paying monthly, the tuition fee discount 50% is applied during the months when there are no trainings (summer break). The discount is already included in the annual payment’s discount.

    An additional discount of 10% applies to each child if two or more children from one family participate in the sports club trainings. To receive the discount, contact the sports manager. The discount for payment and the discount for several children are not combined, first the discount for several children (10%) and then the discount for the payment period (15%) are calculated.

    Tuition fee is paid throughout the training period, temporary non-participation in training does not free the student from paying tuition. Tuition fee discount 50% is applied during the months when there are no trainings. If the student has not participated in training activities for at least 20 consecutive calendar days in one month and the student’s representative informs the sports manager in writing about this (for example health problems or longer trips), the discount is 50% of the monthly fee for the given period. For camps and training activities outside the training period, the tuition fee is paid additionally according to the participation in the training activities.
